I recently had this laser treatment on my foot for nerve pain that was caused by a bunion shifting toe position. I have been seeing a podiatrist for years for this problem and wear prescibed orthotics to provide adequate support to my feet. Despite wearing orthotics, I continued to have significant foot pain.
The majority of my pain wasn't in my bunion but was in the middle of my foot. The pain was significant enough to limit my activities. My podiatrist said my pain was likely due to nerve damage from the bunion shifting the bone placement in my foot. She believed that even if I had my bunion corrected with surgury that I would still suffer the same pain in the middle of my foot because of damaged nerves.
I was eager to try laser therapy to see if my foot pain could be improved and my results have been great! After just a few treatments, my pain seems to have gone away. My foot has been 95% pain free the last 6 days, even after walking 3-4 miles each day! I am very pleased with my results.���
