Fred Astaire Dance Studio is a great time, would recommend. My Fiancée and I recently decided to pick up a new hobby, and picking up a few lessons at the studio was the right choice. The studio staff are polite, professional, and have a deep passion for dance. Furthermore, both our instructors, Illia and Leeza, really made all the difference. Both individually and separate, Illia and Leeza are outstanding teachers. Not only did they establish a comfortable learning environment, but they also made our experience as beginners both educational and fun. Thank you all for such a great experience!

We met our future instructor at the Wedding Expo at the Alliant Energy Center about 10 months before our wedding. They were all so sweet when we met them that we couldn’t say no to signing up for a free first lesson! Signing up for that lesson was the best decision we made. From the first time we stepped foot in the studio, everyone was so warm, welcoming, and happy to see us. They even remembered our names and where we met them, even though we’re sure they saw thousands of people that weekend at the Wedding Expo two months prior! All of the instructors are so kind, funny, and true professionals. Each lesson was a blast and they meet every student, new and experienced, where they are at and teach them accordingly, making learning so comfortable and fun. The studio is such an enjoyable place to be and we truly felt like we had been welcomed into a loving, supportive, and fun community! We were always greeted by everyone every time we stepped through the door and felt like we were walking into a room with all our best friends every lesson. We worked with Anastasiia and Bogdan for the past 8 months and had so much fun at every single lesson that it truly felt like we became family by the end of it all. We learned tango during a few of our initial lessons and loved it so much that we joked that doing a tango for the second half of our first dance would be so cool and unique, and they took that and ran with it! Our first dance was a hit and we got so many compliments on it! It was the coolest dance ever and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative of working with Fred Astaire Madison West and all the amazing instructors there! They made sure that all the details and steps were perfect and coached us so thoroughly during every lesson that we felt extremely comfortable and knowledgeable by the time our wedding came around. We even learned steps to various other dances that we've been able to pull out at other weddings and even our own to make it a blast to be on the dance floor all night! We could not recommend FADS more!
