Absolutely great experience. The owner Eddie was very responsive and reasonable with his quote. We had a few other quotes and Chimney and Fireplace was very reasonable and did the best job detailing out the work and warrantying their work. Can't recommend them more, thanks guys!
About Chimney & Fireplace Works
Chimney & Fireplace Works offers complete chimney and fireplace repairs and services for commercial and residential clients in Dane County and surrounding areas. The company specializes in inspecting and sweeping chimneys, making necessary repairs. Customers have had great experiences with the business, praising its knowledgeable and friendly staff, including Eddie, who provides well-explained inspections and repairs. The company has been described as communicating well, working with unbelievable grace under time pressure, and only charging a trip charge rather than a full service call. Chimney & Fireplace Works has also been commended for inspecting both the chimney and the gas fireplace insert, lighting the pilot light, and explaining the use of the fireplace controls, all at a reasonable price, and providing great customer service, as seen when Eddie refused payment for a minor issue with a fan not working in a fireplace.
Reviews
I had Eddie and his crew rebuild the chimney on my home. The crew (Brad and Dustin) were pleasant hard-working men and I was happy to have them doing the work. Eddie was responsive to my questions when I had them. The price was in line with other estimates I received. I'll recommend them when asked and if I need another bit of work done, I'll be calling Eddie.
Great work, great communication, and great price! We hired Chimney & Fireplace works to rebuild the badly spalling chimney on our 1959 ranch house, repair the water damaged section of roof, and install a gas fireplace insert. Eddie, Casey, and everyone were great to work with and I'd hire them again without hesitation.
