I'd give it a 4 but it's a institute. Kid (Will?) and his buddy learned a lot. He was awesome from the start until it got to the Straight Razor which is what I came for. My scalp is awesome but than he realized it was Lv. 100 red thick beard. Sensitive Skin! Straight Shave. Not the best but they learned something 💚.

Matt was amazing, giving me one of the best haircuts of my life, and that's saying a lot, given that I'm almost 64 years old. He was also an excellent conversationalist and the haircut was a bargain at just $20. We also benefitted from the expertise and advise of the instructor. I wouldn't hesitate to get another haircut at IBW - Madison!

I’ve gotten haircuts here several times, and the students are instructors here are always amazing. I’ve gotten better cuts here than at barbers charging 5x the price, students are all talented and instructors helpful. My only negative is the last few times I’ve been the front desk staff have not been as good, just hand you a form to fill out with a scowl. Recently I was charged $25 when the instructor said it would be $20. Not a big deal for $5 and as I say well worth it but still leaves a negative impression to be changing the price midway. I would rather have that money go to the student cutting.
