Not a real hospital, will misinform you about their services and billing policies, overcharge you, and then submit your name to collection agencies before you even get the bill. Worse of all, when their customer service department and management team is informed of these problems, they do nothing to address them.

Went there on a recommendation from The Doctor's Office in Darien WI, who we would give 5 stars to because we love that place. Not happy with Mercy Hospital in Lake Geneva. Brought in my own X-rays for a fractured wrist. The PA was wonderful and friendly. All she did was put a short Cast on my right wrist which took about 15 minutes. When I received the bill they coded it as a closed reduction fracture and charged me $2500!! She had no assistant, there was no manipulation of my wrist, and they gave me no medication because there was no pain involved. I made several phone calls to try and get the bill coded differently, but no luck, as I'm a self pay patient. It's highway robbery and I will NEVER recommend them at all. Beware!!

Wait times are awful. The staff is incompetent it took 4 tries before nursing could start an IV. They order excessive and unnecessary testing and then once they've racked up a full bill send you home with no answers. Mercy Health as a system needs to re-evaluate standard of care and provided appropriate training for physicians and staff. While this center is just outside my front door, I would clearly go across town to Elkhorn before coming here again. If it were urgent and an ambulance brought me in, I would still ask to be transferred. They are simply awful.
