About Valley View Mall
Valley View Mall in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is a shopping destination that offers a variety of well-known brands. Visitors can take a break from shopping and enjoy dining options, including specialties like Carroll's Popcorn & Yogurt. While the mall has faced some challenges, with fewer shops and people, it remains a nice place for a stroll or a first date. The mall's anchor store, JCPenney, has been renovated and offers a range of clothing items, though some customers have noted that the store can be disorganized. The mall also features a HyVee grocery store, which reviewers have praised as a great store with more than 4 places to eat inside and a variety of bakery items and treats. In the food court, there is a restaurant that has been praised for its fresh and flavorful ramen bowls and delicate mochi donuts. Reviewers have found the staff to be helpful and have encouraged others to visit this hidden gem. The mall has seen many changes over the years, including the addition of a large VA clinic that occupies much of the space left by Sears. Recently, a car wash and a chicken restaurant have been built on the outskirts of the parking lot, with more development underway. Despite many empty spaces where stores used to be, the mall still features interesting shops, such as a huge nerd store that is fun to browse through. Overall, Valley View Mall offers a mix of shopping and dining options, along with a modern environment for visitors, even as it continues to evolve.
Really loved this place first off. I wanna shout out one of the workers for helping me pick out six different books for me to read. I told her what I liked and she was spot on with the recommendations. All the books are amazing so far I would put her name in here, but I don’t kow if she like that lol. I will say since this one is farther away from me as it’s in Madison I would still drive there just to pick up a book and come back home. I live a few hours away. Definitely would recommend going here. They have a really good selection on books especially dark romance, which is what I picked up. The staff is very friendly there and they’re very helpful.
It's interesting to watch the transformation of this mall. Like many others across the nation, it has struggled with vacancy over the years. To address this, the property welcomed a large VA clinic to occupy much of the space left by Sears. More recently, a Hy-Vee was added next to the property. Hy-Vee is very cool! It has more than 4 places to eat inside and a plethora of bakery items and treats! A new car wash and a chicken restaurant have also been built on the outskirts of the parking lot—and more development is underway.
Just like most malls nowadays, a lot of empty spaces where stores used to be. But aside from that, there is a nerd store that was huge and amazing to browse through! Definitely need to go Christmas shopping there my children.
