I cannot even begin to show the gratitude have for a family Vision Center. I spent two days at gundersen urgent care and ER for an extreme eye and sinus infection. They gave me medication and even though it was making things worse, after going into ER for a huge downturn in my infection they kept me on the same meds! I’ve never experienced that level of eye pain and it is NO JOKE! I also have a broken ankle and ring finger and when my vision disappeared I was completely unable to move on my own. I contacted Dr Wonderling who took time out of her free time to come and save my eyes. After one night on Dr Wonderling’s medication treatment and I can already see out of one eye! I spent many hours over two days at gundersen and things just got worse and worse. They didn’t remove me from the meds that made it worse. They told me in about 2 weeks the pain would go away. How can this even be an option? I plainly told them that two more weeks of this pain and blindness wasn’t going to work but they still sent me on my way with no help. If I hadn’t insisted on seeing my own EYE doctor I’d still be spending all today seeing their eye doctors. Believe me when I say that this level of pain couldn’t take that answer seriously. 30 minutes with Dr Wonderling and I woke up today feeling SOooo much better. I stopped all the gundersen meds and she realized I CLEARLY needed different meds and it’s been just 24 hours and I couldn’t be any more grateful. Don’t waste time anywhere else when it comes to your sight. I feel strongly that if I didn’t see Dr Wonderling yesterday I’d be even WORSE today. I can’t imagine hurting even worse. Thankfully I don’t have to suffer anymore because Dr Wonderling gave me my eyes back!!! No words for HOW grateful I am. Just take my advice and go directly to Family Vision Center and do not stop at ER or Urgent care when it comes to your eyes! Three pictures are before I saw Dr W and the last one is how much better my eyes are after 24 hours on her treatment.
We knew we needed a second opinion for our daughter. We were highly recommended to Family Vision Center and we seen Dr. Wonderling. She was aware the eye doctor wasn’t our first go around. She kept us educated, reassured. She was ABSOLUTELY wonderful with our daughter. We finally got some good answers to all our questions & finally something we can do to try to help! We’re so happy! My daughter LOVED her!
I've been going to Family Vision Center for years and my visits have always been exceptional. Staff is friendly, the frame selection is amazing, and the facility is gorgeous. I drive from three hours away because the service is worth it. My husband and daughters are also patients there. My husband and youngest have "good eyes" (I try not to be jealous). My oldest got my genes and the doctors were able to get her into glasses at a young age and it's helped her greatly. Her glasses are so stinkin' cute! I'd highly recommend Family Vision Center, they truly care.
