Everything was going great until I started needing help from the management and maintenance. It's nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone, and I suspect the receptionist just forwards almost all of the calls to voicemail. You literally have to drive down to their main office to talk to someone. Even then, you'll still get the runaround. Maintenance is a complete joke too. Zero communication, zero accountability. DO NOT RENT FROM WALKER PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. You will regret it.

They are glorified slum lords. They do not properly maintain their properties, and will then charge you for repairs they neglected to make to maintain the property. In the first year of my lease I had an issue with tree roots growing into the pipes and causing plumbing issues. The repair person came out to take care of it and noted that the toilet was not properly installed and notified the management company. There was no sub flooring under the toilet, so it was only balancing on the pipe it is attached to and could fall through the floor at any moment. The building I was in they claim to ‘managed’ had several serious issues that were never properly addressed. The basement was infested with fleas and cockroaches, and every time it rained, water would pour through a basement window directly over the main electrical supply for the entire building — a major safety concern.
Maintenance requests were routinely ignored for months at a time. When I followed up about broken appliances in the basement, I was repeatedly told they were “working” despite them clearly being out of service.
