I live in Kewaunee WI and was in Janesville this weekend to visit family. I wanted to go tanning and this tanning studio looked great on the website. The moment I walked in Ona was there to answer any questions I had, showed me around the studio and answered all questions on the beds. The studio was nice and clean, will definitely stop again whenever I'm in town.

I lucked out with the same day red light therapy appointment in the smart sun therapy bed. I’ve never used one before, and the design was interesting. It felt like I was in a space pod. The bed did not get that warm, even though it said it was on high, I don’t think that I actually got any salt and it was weird for my face not to be exposed to red light.
I wanted an option in Janesville, but I think I’ll check out another place since $30 is a bit high for the experience. My normal place isn’t as trendy, but is only $6 For the same amount of time on a red light therapy bed with my face included , so this will be hard for me to justify on a regular basis.

I was extremely impressed with Ona, (pronounced Ah-na) with how she handled my phone calls first. The most patient and kind voice, and I called three times. I was even more impressed when I arrived that evening. It was near closing time, and Ona didn't act any different from when I called that day...which means she cared about her customer more than her getting out on time, which is rarely seen these days. Very knowledgeable, walked me back to my tanning bed, and made sure I had no other questions or concerns, before going in...Ona was the only one I saw there, which impressed me even more!!! So, I signed up for a month!! Thankyou Ona!

Spray tans go orange even with the crazy price of the prep lotion. Very poor business practice with billing.

Don't go there, unless you have unlimited funds to throw at them. They have you sign a contract, keep your card on file, and charge you monthly despite trying to cancel your contract. I put my account on freeze due to a medical illness. Fast forward a month (July 1st) after I was released from the hospital and I approached them to release the freeze. I was told I would have to pay AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE to release the freeze from my account. When I didn't want to do this, I was told I could wait until July 15th when the freeze automatically lifted and I would be charged my regular monthly fee. When I arrived on July 15th to resume tanning, I was then told the freeze wouldn't be lifted until AUGUST 15th, but again, I could pay the extra fee to remove the freeze. (Same girl both times). I cancelled my membership, went to Paradise Tanning where they do a month to month membership, DO NOT KEEP MY CARD ON FILE, and have a far cleaner atmosphere, nicely decorated, spacious rooms and NEW tanning beds. Sunset Tan could use some advice from Paradise Tan on how to treat their customers. What a ripoff.
