Our beautiful lake home was already completed when we purchased it brand new from Lucas Thorne Construction, and we could not be happier with every selection that was made for the home. The amazing variety of wood tones combined with the unusual finishes gives it the feeling of a cabin that has been there forever rather than new construction. It is exactly what we were looking for in a lakeside vacation home for our large, growing family. Every time we walk through the door into our cozy retreat it is like all the stress from “real life” just melts away. Lucas has always been fabulous over the years when we have had any questions or wanted to add new touches here and there. In fact, a few years after purchasing our property, we had him return to build the “garage-mahal” to add parking, storage, a workspace and a high-end cabin for my parents. The experience of building with Lucas was fabulous. His attention to detail was second to none, and he had infinite patience dealing with both myself and my mother throughout the project on all of our selections. My husband and my father love that the new building is so energy efficient and wired for anything they could ever hope to install. The addition of the second home on the property has transformed it from a cabin to an estate. Thank you to Lucas and his team for building the perfect place for us to create memories for our family!
