Our lake house had a 22 year old cedar roof. We were working with a contractor on a renovation project to finish off third floor attic space and found the roof was beginning to show some minor leaking. An inspection by a cedar roof maintenance company which we had been using concluded the roof needed to be replaced. The roof of the house is large and quite complicated with some of the peaks and ridges 30 - 40 feet off the ground.
