KC-K9 Academy Dog Training has been instrumental in helping with my reactive dog. I had tried 2 other programs prior to Kate and had no real progress. Kate has been great to work with and has really helped our family. And thanks to Kate's help we've been able to introduce my dog to my sister's new puppy, and they are now able to be together off leash, which is a huge accomplishment for my dog. I highly recommend KC-K9 Academy.
I called Kate on a wing and a prayer after my dog Duck was kicked out of daycare. She answered the phone while she was out of town and just talking to her calmed me down. Without meeting myself or duck she offered to board him last minute so i could go on my trip. Again when she showed up at my house to pick duck up she was calm, relaxed and eased my nerves of leaving my dog with someone I had only had a short conversation with over the phone. After my trip I signed onto her day camp training. Duck loved her is an understatement and after 6 day camps my dog is a complete 180 of the dog he was. KC-K9 Academy is amazing! Kate’s highly personalized training helped me see my dog in a whole new way and got us into dock diving, which Stella absolutely loves. She truly puts the dog first, takes the time to listen and observe, and gives practical guidance that actually helps. I highly recommend any of her day camp options or boarding. Kate has also done in house training and gave practical tips based on my space. Stella loves to visit Kate! She’s patient, kind, and never makes you feel silly for asking a million questions. Such a fantastic trainer!
