I tried calling because we are missing the comic strip in sunday's paper and I asked the simple question about getting the company today I called every number listed in Google maps to get this copy since it was missing from the paper which I paid full price for and either the phone call got transfered to voice mail which I never got called back or after 30 minutes of trying kept getting busy single or third number when I explained the situation I was offered a subscription, and no matter how many times I said I can't afford it she insisted I buy a subscription which never answered my question about if I could get the copy of the comic strip that was missing from my paid newspaper. Than after repeating 4 times I'm only calling about the missing comic strip because everything else was in the paper the ads the printed news etc only thing missing was the comics I still got only promotion is for today. I only wanted the one comic strip missing from my paper

You hire delivery people that don't know how to deliver the paper.. pretty sad when I have to call 20 times in less than a month because of a delivery issue or just not getting the damn paper... My 90-year-old grandma has fallen twice covered in bruises scrapes and cuts because she has to retrieve the paper from the street every morning.

The customer service was fine. The newspaper, however, is not very useful. There used to be a TV schedule, gone. The comics were much larger, and nowI have been changed a long time ago, don’t like them as much. The advertising circular as were numerous, now they very few. The Wednesday paper used to have a lot of advertising in it, that disappeared long time ago. Sunday paper used to be thick , now it’s as thin the weekday selections.

I did not realize that the digital selection could’ve been changed to whatever area I was visiting. But based on the local paper, it would probably be just as useless as
    any other one.

I am not happy with customer service and the challenge of actually being able to speak with a person when you have a problem. The automated system leaves no option for actually speaking to someone when an issue does not fall neatly into a category that the paper thinks can be resolved with a simple push of a couple of buttons. I'm not sure where there customer service people are located, but it is not a easy communicating when it's difficult to understand the customer service representative you are talking with. I'm sure that they are good people, but it is frustrating. I don't have confidence period.

The Press-Gazette used to be a good, fairly unbiased newspaper when it was an independent source with local reporters. However, with the centralization of the various news sources, it is extraordinarily slanted to the far left with and it seems to be an arm of the Journal-Sentinel. It is difficult to tell the difference between the reporting of "news" and opinion. I do like the paper carrier. She's very reliable unlike the newspaper.

I enjoy the writers and I think they do a great job covering the local news for the paper. But the customer service is horrible.I bought an online subscription to their newspaper when we moved to GB last year. When I arrived at their website it would say Hi Jon, as though it recognized my account, but would say I needed to buy a subscription. Well, analyzing bank statements months later I realized they were charging me $45 a month for one email address to read their paper online.Customer service is basically non existent here. I called and they told me they would under no circumstances issue a refund despite the fraudulent greeting that my subscription required payment each time I arrived at their website. Though they admitted they were charging my singular account 4 times a month and there was nothing in their system that would prevent the multiple billing.I explained that I had worked in banking, and while it’s their right to deny a refund it is my right as a customer to dispute the charges through the bank. This essentially would have lead to a refund anyway just through a different process that took longer and required bank employees to work on my behalf as well. Their customer service representative said I would be credited free months of an online subscription for every extra subscription I was paying for. Basically I would not get a refund but I would not have to pay to read the paper for like another 4 years. That lasted 6 months, which is coincidentally exactly how long a customer has to dispute debit card charges with their bank. So I can no longer dispute these charges through the bank like I should have to begin with.Rather than create a long term customer who would have purchased the paper likely for a lifetime they ripped me off in the short term for $300. Now I feel like they have stolen from me twice. Once they took extra money for a single subscription. Then, to make up for it they fraudulently offered a free subscription to avoid paying the money back.I would not recommend giving any debit or credit card information to them. If you have, watch your statements and dispute any additional charges through your bank as quickly as possible rather than dealing with their customer service. These folks are cyber criminals, so be ready to treat them like a shady internet company as far as your payment options go.

If I didn't have to call them up once a month to get my paper. That be great

Misleading news source. Very biased. If you want a complete story or even an honest opinion you will want to look elsewhere. There have been several articles that I have reached out to the journalists for clarification or even to challenge the facts, and every one has been met with rudeness, disdain, or no reply at all.So much for the good old days of having a local, unbiased news source. The GB Press gazette is an embarrassment.
