Dr. Coorough was the only doctor that would do my surgery because it was a very dangerous surgery. I had what is called a flesh eating bacteria. It started in my vaginal area and it went up into the left side of my belly. Part of my vaginal area and my left side of stomach was cut off. I thank God for Dr. Coorough every day. I was in Bellin Hospital for 5 months, he was there by myside through this scary life threatening disease. His bed side manor and his way of explaining things is so comforting. Dr. Coorough I can never thank you enough for all you and Bellin Hospital have done for me. Everyone went above and beyond what I needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dr Courough removed 1/2 my thyroid because of a nodule and I was having problems swallowing. My voice was going hoarse also. After removing it, the lab told us it was cancerous so then Dr said then the procedure is the remove the other half. That was done 1 month later and everything is great. It has healed up nicely on my neck. I’m really tired but my endocrine Dr will increase my meds now. Hopefully this takes care of my sweating issue. Nothing so far 2 weeks post op!! Yeah!

One of the most personable, humble, down to earth Dr.'s that I have ever met! He listens, and went above and beyond for me when I became his patient. I had been in pain for 2 months, and had seen 3 other Dr.'s prior to him. He knew exactly what was wrong with me at my 1st exam, and had me in surgery the very next day! He even got a hold of one of my other Dr.'s, and was able to get her into the surgery as well to collaborate on a separate issue I was having. I got both issues taken care of at once! I highly recommend him!
