We ordered rustic hickory cabinets from Husky Timber…wanting to support a small business. We made a couple changes to our plans, and everything went smoothly. Once our new home was ready for cabinets, we contacted the owner several times thru his website and left a voice mail, no response…then we contacted again and were told he never received the texts (we did learn that even though it is the same phone number, sending a text through business website did not work)The cabinets were finally done and ready to be installed. We hired Husky Timber a year ago when we decided to build our dream home. They were a new small business and friends of our son in law. so we thought we would give them a chance to build our custom cabinets. Biggest Mistake ever!! Communication was good in the beginning, then calls and texts weren't returned, owner states he never received them. Delivery was delayed for many different reasons, and installation was a nightmare!!! Cabinets were not level, doors and drawers rubbed on screws, and owner of company blamed everyone from the dry wallers to the builder to the hinge manufacturer!
