About Fire Ridge Golf Club - Pro shop
Fire Ridge Golf Club offers a challenging and enjoyable golfing experience with a peaceful natural ambiance. The course layout is considered fair for all skill levels. While the fairways, greens, and tee boxes are in excellent condition, the bunkers are a major drawback, as many are filled with rocks rather than sand and overgrown with weeds. The pro shop area and clubhouse are decent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The greens are in good shape, rolling smoothly, and the terrain provides interesting blind tee shots, dog legs, and valleys that add to the challenge. Fairways and rough are cut well, maintaining a neat appearance. The course is kept in great shape overall, with natural beauty and terrain that players enjoy. Carts are electric but lack GPS, which could help pace of play, especially when the course is busy. Some carts and cart paths are in poor repair, and many paths are in need of replacement. Slow play due to overbooking has been noted, but the course's condition and layout still make it a good place to play. The rate of $65 with a cart on a Monday morning is considered fair. Despite some issues with bunkers and cart paths, the course remains a nice option for golfers seeking a fun and scenic round.
Really enjoy playing here. Fairways and Greens are kept up well. Love the terrain and the natural beauty. $65 on a Monday morning with cart is about what this course is worth IMO and that's what our group paid.
The reason for the 4 star is that the bunkers are atrocious and many of the cart paths are beyond in need of repairs. Hopefully those are addressed at some point in the near future.
Course is in great shape. Decent pro shop area and nice clubhouse. Staff were awesome. Range was in a good spot to be away from things. Greens were in good shape rolling all over. Some blind tee shots, terrain, and dog legs with some fescue or valleys to work ball positioning. Fairways and rough were cut how they should be. Carts were electric but really wish they had gps on them. Rates for this course were pretty good. When played, course was busy and we had a group that could've paced better for playing ready....so gps carts might help the course monitor pace better if there's not a ranger out. But overall, nice course to play.
Beautiful clubhouse staffed with friendly and attentive employees. Course in very good condition, although the sand in the bunkers is loaded with rocks, stones, pebbles, etc. Nice electric carts, smooth and quiet. But the asphalt cart paths are in terrible shape. Playability is good, challenging, with a number of blind shots (starting with the tee shot on #1). Greens have many subtle breaks but are fair and rolled true. It's a course you must play a few times to get the "lay of the land".
