“On July 14:

Ms. Keekers now has high BP along with her Thyroid issue (often times the two will develop together)which in cats can cause blindness ☹. She has bleeding in the back if her eyes and cannot currently see-hopefully getting her on meds will get things under control and she will regain her sight or at least some of it. I have to say that Doc Olson at Blue Pearl was very good to us- so glad there was somewhere to get her in rather than waiting.

On July 30:

Went for the first followup for Ms. Keekers today. Vet said I did a great job with getting her in and giving meds-she couldn’t see any evidence of any issues with her eyes and she has her vision back! Her BP is still on the high side of normal but, could have been due to stress of going to a new clinic. So she goes back in just over 2 weeks for a re check to see if it is still elevated and go from there.
