My cummins was at their shop for over a month. When I dropped it off I explained my issues, told them they could drive it home or whatever they needed to do but I needed it running for a trip across the country. Please call with any big expenses. When I got a call from them I was told it needed injectors and they put in new stock ones without a phone call. I was irritated I didn't get a phone call on that because I was planning on going up on injector size. Either way I was happy to have the truck back and running, went to pick it up on a Friday and it was completely dead in their lot. The owner gave me a jump pack and I got it fired up. I didn't even make it out of the industrial park. Same exact issues as when I brought it in. When I called them they said they were leaving for the weekend and I could bring it back and they could look at it monday. Long story short it was a lift pump. I put in a air dog and everything was fine. My truck was misdiagnosed and it cost me a lot of money and time I didn't need to spend. Over $3k for stock injectors I will need to change out again.

I tried to order a injector return line from a few other companies online. Two weeks later it hadn't shown up. Gave the other companies a call just to find out it was on backorder but they did not notify me. I gave Huckstorf a call. They went and physically checked their inventory for the return line, got it in hand. They then had it out and shipped it to me the SAME DAY! I'm absolutely thrilled with their service! Also very competitively priced with all other places online!

Sent my DB2 injection pump to Huckstorf Diesel for a rebuild all the way from Finland. Everything went smoothly, communication was great, and the truck runs perfect now. Highly recommend!

Huckstorf diesel just upgraded my 2015 Ram 2500. New transmission, bigger turbo, fuel system upgrade and ram air intake. During the build there was a sensor placement issue on the intake and they didn’t stop troubleshooting until ALL issues were put to bed. It took a little longer to complete but the personnel at Huckstorf stayed with it and my truck is fun to drive now, thanks to them. I knew they were good but after my experience they are great. That was the end to all the positives. After the initial build was complete the truck started to stall out when stopping. Initially the EGR valve was replaced at $1500. This didn’t resolve the problem. Soot in the exhaust was removed ($700). As it was thought to be the issue. NO! All injectors were pulled and inspected. There is 130 K miles on the motor so of course the injectors failed and $7000 later had a new set. Didn’t fix the issue. Truck stalls more when hot. Put new fuse box in for this reason. Nothing they are doing is working. The time (5months) they have had my truck is mind boggling. It seems that their troubleshooting skills consist of changing parts and charging me money. I don’t know what to do!
