I've driven here since 2016. I like it here because we have good pay, new trackers, the shop is good and good home time. Most guys get a 34 every week, I stay out for about a month and take 3 or 4 days off. The staff is great and works with you. The owners know your name and have an open door if you want to talk to them. Like everything there are pros and cons. But at Fortrans I think the pros out way the cons.
Love working here, only been here a few weeks and they truly make me feel like they value my experience in the trucking industry. Definitely not a first, but still pretty rare. Too many companies don't care because they are only looking to fill seats, as long as the trucks are rolling their happy, but there are some companies like Fort Transportation that are looking for quality drivers that know the job and compensate them accordingly with pay, benefits, and bonuses to keep them around. They aren't babysitters, so they aren't going to call you 20 times a day to ask how your doing with your run. If their calling, it's important. Otherwise, they just... read full review
