My friend and I went here for a spa day. The place is huge and very clean. We each got an 80 min massage and then hung out by the pool and hot tub. We ordered food by the pool. It was delicious and came very quickly. The staff here does an amazing job of keeping the place clean and anytime we had questions anyone we spoke to was very kind and helpful. I will definitely be going back with my family.

This place sucks. Don’t waste your money. We came here for our anniversary and stayed at the resort. My husbands massage was terrible and he asked the guy to work on his lower back and the guy worked on his upper back and neck mostly and the time he did his lower back, he worked into a spot with no muscle and he said it was very painful. We got pedicures and I’m pretty positive there’s no way these people are licensed to give pedicures. No one informed us that you can’t come in with gel polish. The lady made me feel bad for having gel on already which is what I always have on my toes. They only offer a very basic pedicure with regular polish. No massage of any kind during the pedicure. I’m also pretty sure these tools were not cleaned/new for every person. She said most of my time had to be used soaking off my gel polish. Which again… I had no idea that wasn’t allowed. When the service was over they tried to charge us $50 for gel polish removal and we said no way!! That’s absurd. Because they don’t have a proper nail drill? And had to soak my toes in acetone? Any other proper place has a nail drill and it takes 2 minutes to remove gel polish. The other lady was also late to my husbands pedicure appointment and left for 15 minutes during the service. He sat there for that time with cold towels on his feet. She also finished his appointment early. The massage chairs sucked. They weren’t comfortable at all. The polish job on my toes is terrible and we’re literally going to go home and pay for another pedicure to be done the right way. DO NOT come here or book spa services!!! The staff has no idea what they are doing and it’s just way too overpriced/not worth the money at all. It’s almost like an experience when a student is training is working on you. Horrible. The pool is cool looking, the water was too cold for swimming and we just used to hot tub.

Update 4/5: Thankfully a manager did reach out and made right on the situation. I do appreciate the follow-up and making it right for us. We will continue to visit the spa and hope that any issues with communication are resolved over the next few months.Original 1/5: Used to be my favorite spa. But no one answers the phones which heavilydelays the process of making a reservation and thus no/limited options are available on my dates. Not sure what's going on here, but based on other negative reviews it seems to be a new and unfortunate trend. Hope to give them yet another chance... but we'll see if things change for the better.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went to get my hair done and it was atrocious. My hair looked NOTHING like what I asked for. It looked brassy and it was so uneven, there was sections of my hair that werent even dyed. It was so bad I had to go to a different place to get it fixed. Can you imagine that, having to pay for your hair TWICE. DONT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE

Just called to make a reservation and after 15 years of coming to the Abbey with my wife we will no longer be coming there. We met a young lady with a heavy Indian accent who was extremely short with us. While we were trying to spend our money at the spa that we've been coming to for again 15 years. She was very short with us and extremely combative when we were trying to ask her questions about new spa services that we had seen after she gave us one and two word answers. She hung up on us and refused to take any more phone calls. Very disappointed as we love this place, but after a little bit of research we found that there are several spas in lake Geneva. Thank God.

We are staying at the Abbey this weekend and I called early on Friday to see if they had any appointments for Saturday. I left a message asking someone to give me a call back to discuss if they had any availability, today is Saturday afternoon and we still have not received a return call so we went down to the spa to inquire. The women at the desk explained that they were just now getting to voicemails from the 17th, today is the 20th.

Had a great massage from Kim. Staff was friendly and the sauna and massage areas were very clean. I was a bit of a challenge to get someone to answer the phone to make an appointment but it worked out!

I went there on fri..the lady said 50$ i dont usually pay that much..but oh well..went back on saturday...for my mani. got charged 65$ i didnt say any thing cause there were customers behind me...so around 7 or 8..we are on a weekend vaca. We get a phone call saying i didnt pay..YES I DID. I was so upset. She wanted to see the card i used...so i had to get dressed...by the way. We are on a vaca...i went down stairs to go to the spa...she called. And said never mind...you are ok...grrr. ruined my whole night
