After meeting with a few builders, we went with Winfield Homes and we are very pleased with the result! We had never been involved in a new construction before, but had heard/read some horror stories of how things can go wrong, so one of our primary goals was to find a contractor who would be there with us through the end and not drop the ball if problems arose with punch list items, subcontractors, etc. Winfield was there for us and did not disappoint. We did have an issue with some of the tile work by one of the subs, and Winfield was helpful getting it resolved and fixed. Jim, Tom and Jason were absolutely wonderful to work with! We had an issue with a previous builder and were referred to Winfield through our realtor. Right away, we knew that this builder was going to be different compared to others we talked with. Throughout the entire process, we were kept in constant communication...from answering our (various) questions to keeping us up to date on the progression of our build.
