I called Searl Inc. for a simple fence quote and was immediately met with hostility. The first woman on the phone grilled me about square footage and other details I couldn’t possibly know—that’s literally the reason you schedule an estimate. After that uncomfortable call, no one followed up, so I submitted an online request. When I finally got an email response, it came across as condescending and dismissive, implying I should have been prepared with all the details before they’d even consider coming out.
