We really enjoyed having our new puppy stay at the Door County Kennels. Dave was great and took amazing care of our little guy. The flexibility this allowed us to have our puppy with for the day trips and know that he is getting walked and cared for at night.

This is an amazing place. The gentleman that runs it is very nice and he loves dogs. You can tell he has a special connection with animals the minute you walk in. We got stuck on Washington Island for longer than intended and weren't able to make it back before he closed. But after calling him we were very relieved at how accommodating he was about the situation. He didnt even charge us extra. His prices are amazing especially for the extra work he puts in. We gave him more than what he asked for since he highly deserved it for the amount of work he put in. I would definitely go again.

We took our lovely Bailey here. Coming in, she was completely out of her element and barked at the owner as loud as she could. She did not want to go into her kennel! With a heavy heart, I decided to give it a try for one night. The next day we came pretty much as soon as they opened. Immediately I could tell that she had warmed up to the owner as she was no longer barking and was giving him friendly nudges. We took her for a walk and returned. This time she happily went into her kennel, which was a huge relief. She was not sad that we had left for another day.
