I live close, so I did a few walk-ins having to call ahead to check. They're so great! They listen to what you want and adjust. I also brought in my 5 y.o. daughter to get a haircut, too. It was a great experience for her.

Even though Shear Experience is a bit of a haul for us, we refuse to pick a salon closer to home. Sam is absolutely incredible. Our whole family goes to her and here's why. Our son had near crippling anxiety when it came to getting his hair cut. We tried multiple salons around town and every time, he started to panic. A little over a year ago, a girlfriend recommended we try Shear Experience as the ladies there were great. Fast forward to today, our son doesn't throw a fit anymore when we mention he has to get his hair cut. He actually looks forward to seeing Ms. Sam and the ladies at the salon. I was nervous to go to a new hair salon, but since I’ve moved, I needed to find someone local. Ashlyn was able to get me in the same week that I was looking for an appointment. (My schedule is already hard to fit anything in) Anyway, I wanted to go lighter and cover up my grays. Ashlyn explained everything to me and made sure my hair could handle the color before applying it to my entire head. Not only did she do an amazing job with the color, but she helped my hair feel healthy and fresh after cutting off the split and dead ends.
She literally worked magic on my hair and I will definitely be returning!!
