“I called Sunnyside Landscapes at the suggestion of my realtor, and I'm SO GLAD I did! Unlike some of the big companies that you have to email to get an appointment to talk to someone, Chuck Langfeldt answers his own phone. Chuck and Matt were wonderful to work with. I loved the creative options they gave me for plants, and appreciated them listening when I had suggestions as well. They installed a huge patio, retaining walls, sidewalk, wildflowers on our hillside, plants and sod. Chuck, Matt and their team are HARD workers. But I guess what I appreciated the most was how they listened and made plans based on our requests. For example, I told them I wanted larger trees put in because we are seniors and want to be able to see our trees and shrubs get to a good size. Not only did they plant large specimens for us, but they were considerate for our age in other work without being asked. As you can see in the pictures, there is only one shallow step from the screen porch to patio. There had been two steep steps originally and Sunnyside brought in loads of soil to bring the yard up to where we have an easier time getting in and out of the house. You can also see they brought the side yard up so it is level from the garage, through the service door to the sidewalk, instead of having a big step down. This was a LOT of work, and we didn't even think to ask for it, but boy are we glad for it! We love the retaining walls and they hold back the hillside, as well as were designed so our grandkids are safe when running on them. Chuck and Matt are super considerate when we had questions, even giving us thorough plant care suggestions for fall and spring when I called and requested it. Sunnyside takes great pride in their work, as well they should. I enthusiastically recommend them for your landscape needs.”
