Bluemound Animal Hospital is recognized for its excellent customer service, friendly staff, and professionalism. Clients appreciate the caring approach, especially when handling difficult pets. The hospital has a wonderful facility with very reasonable prices and offers convenient hours, including early Saturday appointments. Dr. Emily Weaver is highlighted for her amazing skills and knowledge, taking great care of pets and handling them with love. She is easy to talk to and provides great recommendations. Overall, Bluemound Animal Hospital is seen as one of the best veterinary options in Brookfield, making visits a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
They veterinarians were all great. We started with Dr. Bitter in the late 1980's, and have recently been seeing Dr. Wertz. The veterinarian techs are also top rated, Linda with her compassion most recent. So we've had cats born, raised, and put to rest with this team. Wonderful experiences even in sad times.
Edit September 2026: Per their email hours will be changing and clinic will no longer be open on Fridays which implies there will be major staffing changes. Based on information given and our preferred vet Dr. Wertz no longer being available starting October 2026 therefore we are choosing to try elsewhere. Also many of the amazing staff have left and the new ones don’t provide the same quality of service.

We have been bringing our pets to Bluemound Animal Hospital for over 20 years, but I would not recommend bringing your pet there anymore. My senior dog has some medical issues and Dr. Weaver ordered labs. We never found out results from her and had to repeatedly call the office even weeks after the labs were preformed only to hear that she would get back to us. After 4 weeks of not getting a straight answer, we had our files sent to a new animal hospital. Our new Vet explained all the results to us including an unaddressed urinary tract infection which had to be treated.
