About German Shepherd Dog Club of Wisconsin
The German Shepherd Dog Club of Wisconsin, founded in 1947 by 33 enthusiasts, promotes interest and proper training in German Shepherd Dogs. The Club owns and maintains training grounds where it holds AKC-licensed shows, obedience trials, agility trials, and fun matches. It is a non-profit organization affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the German Shepherd Dog Club of America (GSDCA). The Club is highly recommended for its excellent puppy training, which is free with AKC paperwork, and for transitioning dogs into more advanced training after one year. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful, and they provide great support to owners. Members enjoy a variety of activities, such as agility, obedience, and conformation, and benefit from the breed expertise of the community.
