So…this past Monday, I put my garbage out as usual. Terrible weather but I didn’t get any alert that the pick up would be delayed.
It did not get picked up but I left it out all day Tuesday. No pickup.
My driveway is 1000 plus ft. long so I put the garbage container midway of the driveway as I did not want to drag it full all the way back to the garage.
I called WM and they said they attempted pickup on Monday morning but no container. All can figure out is due to the snow storm, the drivers started there run earlier, which put them at my house before 10:00 am. Normally, they pick up around noon.

The Ashland WM (Waste Management) location is not open to the public. If you're looking for a local place to drop off garbage, go across the street to the Republic Services. WM is otherwise a fine company, providing garbage trucks and roll-off dumpsters to the region.
The only issue I have had is not having less frequent pickups for a lower cost... I live alone and only have enough trash to put out every 2 or 3 weeks.If this where available then all would be perfect.
