Highly recommend Shag & Wag. Our usual pet care options weren't available, and while our 9 year old shepherd mix is pretty well socialized, she'd never been boarded. We did a pre-board visit to see the facility and talk with Heather and both Heather and Dan spent a good amount of time answering questions and letting our dog check out the facility. Very astute observations about her behavior and initial anxiety in a new place with lots of new dog smells. She was a little nervous when we dropped her off, but we watched her transform in the next day as she got acclimated and Heather sent a steady stream of updates and videos. She was a part of the pack in short order.
Really nice facility, caring owners, good attention to detail and excellent behavioral observations and insights. They understood our dog and helped her acclimate. We'll definitely go back here if we need to board our dog again.
Dr. Nick is amazing with our dogs and cats. I would recommend him to anyone. He’s attentive and caring. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for my pets!
