In a world where it can sometimes be difficult to find doctors that allow women to have autonomy over their reproductive rights, I felt very relieved that the first OB GYN surgeon I met with allowed me to get sterilized at 25 without needing to defend my case or having permission from a significant other (although my husband was happily on board with this decision). “My experience with marshfield was amazing! The only negative I could say is the er nurse Amber should probably find a different job. She is NOT a friendly person and seems to think quite highly of herself. Other than that, everyone was amazing! Saw many nurses, doctors, etc. Er doctor and nurses were great, OR doctors and nurses were great, anesthesiologist was great. Everyone seemed to genuinely care, talked me through everything, and got me where I needed to be with urgency. Absolutely one of the best hospital experiences I've ever had!“
