The hospital was bright and. There is a small deli as well as a cafeteria. The ER staff are friendly and helpful. I have had too many opportunities to visit friends there in ER this year. The critical / intensive has the latest technology. The nursing staff were friendly and professional. More than willing to answer questions. I was there till early morning. The staff brought me a recliner that made into a bed. The patients' rooms are bright and light well. I have nothing but good things about this hospital, and personnel.
You know when you see someone doing their job and you know they are doing what they were meant to do well up at memorial hospital. This week I saw that in a nurse, her name was Mac and she was head and shoulders above everyone else in her profession it had to be embarrassing for the rest trying to justify why they were even working in the same hospital
Billing dept doesn't seem to have a firm grasp on insurance policies & procedures. They are not willing to get accurate information that would actually get them paid in a more timely manner & not illegitimately billing patients . Pay attention to your bills!
