I had driven past Yakima Networking many times before my laptop died so when I needed help I checked their reviews and called. I took my laptop in and was called when the problem was diagnosed to get my okay to move forward. At that time I was also told the cost of the material and labor. I was called a second time to ask if there was anything else I wanted done as far as transferring data. Both calls were very friendly and informative so I could make the best decisions for my needs. When I picked up my laptop I was amazed that there had been only one hour of labor needed so the cost was minimal. I now have a 4-year-old laptop that runs better than ever. Called first regarding antique but still working HP Laptop/Ipad. Person who answered the phone, Ed, was very welcoming, low key, offering 15 minute free discussion. Staff fixed both my concerns at no cost. Wasn't carrying cash or would have gladly tipped. They said they would accept cookies, lol, but I don't bake.Go forward a couple months - Asked staff to find any way possible to keep my HP Laptop on life support, upgrade to windows ten...computer surgeon Ed performed miracle surgery, resurrecting my soggy drive, upgrading to a newer version of my HP, kept all my stuff in tact, ran security tests which took an entire day on the operating table and sent me on my way...read full review
