A-1 School of Driving

Mr.S / Mr. Sutton is the best teacher at A-1!! He is super nice and funny. I learned so much about safety in the vehicle/roads and the laws of the road thanks to him! Thank you A-1 and MR. SUTTON!!!!!

Very poor experience.
Customer service was disappointing from the moment I arrived. I was greeted with an unfriendly attitude and did not receive any assistance at all.

I tried to ask questions, but the staff seemed more focused on their phones than helping customers. In the end, I had to follow instructions posted on the wall on my own, without any guidance.

After several attempts to get help and being met with a negative attitude, I decided to leave without completing anything.

Fortunately, I was able to get help at Parkside, where the experience was completely different, professional, friendly, and efficient.

I do not recommend this place if you are looking for good service. I suggest exploring other options.

Very nice people definitely recommend this place if you want to learn to drive.

The have a 5 min late policy which means even if your there and have to go outside to get papers, that they will count it as late. The tester would look away from ya as you looked down the side streets and say he didn't see you look. These guys used to be smart and great. Now new staff and things aren't as great. Smh

I had a fantastic experience at this driving school! My daughter Kimberly shared the following: Ms. Pizano, the classroom teacher, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. She explained all the rules of the road clearly and made sure everyone understood the material before moving on. Her teaching style is engaging and supportive, which helped my daughter Kimberly feel confident about the written exam.

Alisha, the driving instructor, was equally amazing. She was calm, encouraging, and gave clear instructions during their practice sessions. Alisha helped Kimberly overcome her nerves behind the wheel and taught her practical skills that she uses every day. She provided constructive feedback and always made safety a top priority.

Thanks to both Ms. Pizano and Alisha, Kimberly passed her driving test! I highly recommend this driving school to anyone looking for thorough instruction and supportive teachers.

My experience was great, my instructer was really easy to work with and fun to talk to and very helpful with the process.

This A-1School of driving (yakima) was amazing. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend taking your test with this place.

I would not recommend this place to anyone as the instructors themselfs are barely out of school and don’t have the wisdom that comes with age and experience .Please save your money and time and go to another location ..My instructor clearly is in a battle with his/her own identity and should not be in a position of authority.Is this the type of people you want around your kids.If you go back and read some of the reviews you can see the caliber of people your dealing with! Why be sarcastic or arrogant take it in stride and correct the issue_Own it and move on..if the “owner” hired his employees with some integrity and experience they probably wouldn’t having so many issues…
**Also I highly recommend that you be proactive when filing a complaint with this driving school and do so via (dol.wa.gov)file complaint ,and it will be officially investigated.
And if you still are in need of a driving school I would highly recommend going to ParkSide driving school off of Fruitvale , I went there and got my license no issues..
The people that work there are no nonsense nonjudgmental or prejudice.Very professional.Best wishes to you all. .

a1 has very helpful staff and easy testing. all you have to do is study and practice, practice practice!!

I have had really great experiences when I have gone to take my tests , all of the staff are really good teachers and are very kind and helpful !!
