I started training at WMA in 2005, and became an instructor in 2011. It changed my life in so many positive ways. The focus on community has helped me to build lifelong friendships that I cherish.This is a place where kids and adults learn how to nurture their strengths and tackle their challenges through martial arts so they can become the best version of themselves.

This is an amazing martial arts academy! I marvel at the family dynamics within this academy. My kids have matured into young leaders of tomorrow thanks in large part because of Woodinville Martial Arts. The love, positivity, discipline and kindness are what makes WMA not only successful but also a home and a family. The anxiety that my kids had when they start quickly vanished as they blossomed into confident leaders and young adults. Our 3 kids all spend many years at WMA growing through the program. I feel blessed that we were able to join the community and to see the confidence that the instructors inspired in them. Truely one of a kind supportive program that is so much more than the kids learning martial arts.

Learning how to defend yourself is just the tip of the iceberg here. Serving Woodinville since 1997, our passion is helping members of our community become true martial artists. We want you to achieve the self-confidence, focus, and physical fitness you need to feel empowered as the best version of yourself. Working together, we can all achieve more for ourselves and help others along the way. Our curriculum is rooted in Taekwondo with added weapons and self-defense. We teach classes for kids starting at 3 years, and adults of all ages. We also hold seminars from anti-bullying for kids to knife seminars, ground-sparring, and self-defense throughout the year.
