Phoenix farm is such a wonderful place. Teri, the owner is so knowledgeable and has such an incredible eye for details. The horses here are extremely well taken care of and the community is so kind and down to earth. As with all riding schools, it takes a while to learn all the norms but everyone is really helpful and patient. I’m just getting back into riding after a 10 year break and everyone here has been so welcoming (a rarity for many hunter jumper barns, unfortunately) and Teri has worked hard to accommodate my schedule and help me take my time to get back into riding and build my skills and endurance back up. Highly recommend Phoenix Farm to anyone in the Seattle area who wants to ride with trainers who really know what they are doing and on safe, very well taken care of horses.

Phoenix Farm is amazing. My daughter has been doing lessons for several months at PF. She looks forward to it every week. It has been a joy to watch her become more confident on and around horses. Teri is an amazing instructor. Everyone at the barn is so nice and also willing to help. Can't recommend PF enough!

I've been riding here for nearly two years and love it. Teri, the owner, is an expert instructor who gives solid instruction and feedback. She really knows what she is doing. She works patiently with where you are at. She genuinely loves to see her students excel and is happy for you when you improve. As an adult coming back to riding, this has been the highlight of each week for me! The horses are well trained and clearly well cared for. The vibe at the stable is friendly and relaxed. It's perfect for adults, children or teens. I am really glad I found this stable!

Exceptional Hunter/Jumper barn with excellent instructors, lots of horses for any experience level, and a large, flat, beautiful property with two big arenas (one covered, one outdoor). Even better, this barn is down to earth - everyone is incredibly nice and supportive. I grew up riding hunter/jumper competitively in California. I took a break for college, then rode for another year in my mid-20s, and after an 18-year break, just got back into riding again about 7 months ago. It's been such a supportive and encouraging environment in which to regain my skills, confidence, and strength. They even have an amazing summer camp program for kids - my 6-year-old daughter attended last year and is going again this year. She's now attending weekly lessons and learning everything from horse care, ground work, tacking up/untacking, riding technique, and more all in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. I love Phoenix Farm and highly suggest it to anyone looking for a great hunter/jumper barn!

Phoenix farm has been an excellent place to take lessons. They have a bunch of wonderful lesson horses (including Dreamer, one of my favorites, picture included!). Phoenix has created a safe, fun environment, and I have improved both my riding and my horsemanship skills. 10/10 would recommend!

I have been riding since I was 7 and, at 25, the years of experience (and shows) do not show. Despite having been riding (albeit pretty inconsistently) during all of those years, I am now an adult rider who pretty much knows nothing.I'm probably strongest at the actual riding part, and that isn't saying much. From tack on to tack off, I have dozens of questions and, seemingly, an inability to understand the answer the first time it is given to me.This brings me to Teri, Phoenix Farm and the purpose of this review; there is no better place for an adult rider (with or without knowledge). Teri brings so much equine knowledge and experience to the table and, better yet, she is patient and kind as she explains something to me three times before I get it.The systems she has developed at the barn make for an efficient experience where horses, riders and tack are handled intentionally and with great care. I am a teacher for my day job and needless to say I learn a great deal about my own profession from working with Terri as she instructs her students and implements great, sustainable systems.I am excited to continue progressing and building sticky horse knowledge that I actually remember in a year. I recommend Phoenix Farm to anyone at any age looking to grow as a rider/person.

Best barn for kids and teens to learn English style riding and jumping. They have top notch instructors and a large covered arena for the Northwest rain. The students learn good technique, personal confidence and they also learn the responsibility of taking care of the ponies.
