I've taken my elder kitty to Alex several times. The first was for a lion cut, as she no longer grooms her long hair as effectively as in the past and had developed mats that I could not untangle. He did a wonderful job and, once used to her new reality, my kitty seemed much happier to no longer have her skin being pulled. Since that inital appointment I have taken her in for a few nail trims. She won't let me touch her paws, but she becomes quite docile on his lap while getting her pawdicure. Due to Alex's skill, she only has to endure it for about a minute. We have a ragdoll that gets matted easily and gets his nails stuck in the carpet and that makes him sad. Alex fixes all of this magically! He is a true cat whisperer and really cares about his craft.
