These are just the kindest people. I was passing through town and had increasing eye pain days away from home. They fit me in as a walk-in and got me a prescription that gave me immediate relief and allowed me to get on with work. In another place I might have been turned away and still be afraid and miserable. Nice to know there are people who will go out of their way for a stranger.

I can’t say enough about my fantastic experience at Nielson Eye Care. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by their friendly staff. Dr. Nielson was amazing—so knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. I wish I had found them sooner! I left feeling well taken care of and confident in their expertise. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable, as well as very understanding and patient when it comes to mother’s needing to bring their littles to appointments. They would rather you receive the eye care you need in an efficient amount of time, than risk your vision worsening due to constant rescheduling because of a lack of childcare. Where in the care of other practitioners, I have felt my prescriptions were a bit rushed, either by the doctor or by myself in a bid to save the doctor time.
