A hidden gem in an older small business plaza. Since moving to this area, I have been looking for a quality barber at a decent price. Most of the barber shops that I've gone to are not worth the price they are charging. Luckily I stumbled upon Hung's. The quality of haircut is just as good, if not better than some of the other really pricey barbers - some are double his price. It's no frills and you're in and out rather quickly, which I appreciate. Today I learned the hard way today that you should call to make an appointment since he is booked up. I must have gotten lucky the first time I went as I just walked in and was able to get a haircut right away.
Best kept secret in Vancouver for guys wanting an excellent haircut. No advertising, tucked away behind a small shopping area on Mill Plain. He will ask you what type of haircut you want and you are out in 15-20 minutes. His attention to detail is exceptional and you will not be disappointed. Might be hard to get in on the same day you call for appointment, but try anyway. Don't even try to walk-in and not expect a long wait or no availability at all. He is that busy. If you want chit-chat and watch TV while getting an expensive haircut, this place is not for you. No better haircut elsewhere and price is currently under 20 bucks. You can't go wrong here.
