Have visited a few times over the years. Always a great experience. Even for a day trip out along the hood canal and a stop in at the bar. The rooms are nice though a bit dated. Its is kept up really well. Wonderful staff. Beautiful views. The food at the restaurant/bar was all quite good.

I have gone to the Alderbrook Inn since I was a kid (I'm 45 now). The brunch has always been amazing. The rooms serve their purpose and are quaint. I spend most of my time at the pool and there is always some activity to do. Unfortunately, the resort attracts a lot of families and their children are quite loud and the parents don't seem concerned with how they might be effecting other people's experiences. For a time there the resort was leaning more towards adults and not really allowing kids and that was the BOMB! It was so quiet. Nice hotel, we enjoyed the pool, the walk on the beach, and the trail. Unfortunately we were not able to dine at the restaurant- all booked. So maybe book before you go. We went to Hama Hama oyster saloon which is a 30 min from there - wonderful place.
