For various reasons, I wanted a second opinion regarding a filling I had done by another dentist. Southcenter Dental had good reviews so I contacted them for an appointment. Michelle, who answered the phone, was extremely helpful and kind, as was the hygienist (whose name I forget - sorry!). Dr. Baruffi referred me out for a root canal (eek) and Michelle even called me the day after the root canal to see how I was doing. I have high levels of dental anxiety so this attention really made me feel calm and seen.

Bad experience, gave it a shot, but I will never go back! Dr. A. Baruffi, is not a good listener, insensitive to a patients possible cosmetic needs. He tried to sell his laser product by, "pointing at my face, what's going on here?" Really! Maybe he was nervous? But, really, as he pointed to a small scar on my face, which doesn't require that and he's a dentist that should have focused on issue at hand. My needs! He had a midievil practice that rather listen to me about my bells palsy to my face that my face has issues with numbing! Again, I gave it a shot! Nope! I will never go back! He didn't listen, rather he wanted to try to be a magician... read full review

I am a new resident in Washington. Luckily I chose Southcenter Dental to be my new dentist. I just wanted to say, this place is absolutely beautiful. The office is very high class in terms of aesthetics, architecture and equipment. But the true beauty is in the staff and their approach to dentistry. The staff's true beauty is in their intellectual and emotional approaches. I had a rather complicated procedure to be performed as I had gone too long without addressing the problem. The dentist was able to fix my problem "AND" save the two teeth being worked on. It was a complete surprise that a root cannel was not required to fix my teeth.
