“Love this place. I was fearful of the dentist for a long time but I felt comfortable as soon as I found Benca & Gee. It was recommended to me, I’m glad I listened & made the (short) drive into Tukwila. Everyone here loves their job. From front desk to hygienists to doctors, to everyone in between, they’re all happy to be there. And they’re all great at their job. I had to have an extraction done which I was nervous about and they did an amazing job at both reassuring me and keeping me comfortable. Shout out to Sarah the hygienist who not only does a detailed job but also loves to swap toddler stories, makes the cleaning pleasant having someone who enjoys their job & a good gab about family life.“

“You know those people that say “I love my dentist!!” and you just look at them and roll your eyes because like that’s so “pick me”… no one loves their dentist… well I am devastated to report that after visiting Burien Dental… I am now a “pick me” gal. I love my dentist AND his fabulous staff, and I’m not afraid to say it. First up, Katie, my gal, my queen, my front desk diva, she responds even on weekends (insane dedication btw). She gets you booked up and ready to go for your appointment, greets you with a smile and makes sure that you are ready to go slay the day (and have another appointment booked) when you’re done. Next up, we have Sarbjot, a woman who has dental cleanings down to a science. Like is the government aware? This woman’s precision and care should be studied. If you are lucky enough to work with her, learn from her. Don’t make me say it again. And last we have Dr. La Rota himself, a man who so passionately loves what he does and where he works that his joy can be felt across the entire office. Whether it’s thoughtfully presenting a treatment plan, or getting a nervous child to laugh, you know immediately when you are in his presence that you are in the hands of someone who cares about you and your smile. So yes, “pick me”, choose me, brush my teeth, or whatever the heck Meredith Grey said. If loving Burien Dental is wrong, I don’t want to be right.“

The main receptionist is really nice and great at her job, the hygienist was friendly and offered helpful advice, and the dentist knows what he's doing and takes comments about issues your having seriously and addresses them. Only complaint is that too many people use this dentist office so they can be pretty busy making scheduling somewhat difficult.“

Dr. Sangroy is great, Sarah is definitely one of the best hygienists I've ever had, and the dental assistants and front office staff are all friendly and top notch at what they do! I had made the mistake of taking a couple years off from regular cleanings, but they got me all fixed up nicely and all the pain and discomfort is gone... dental insurance seems to be a little wonky at times but they're experts at billing too so there hasn't been a single hassle, plus if you have an emergency situation they're great at working to squeeze you in... definitely recommended!“

“I've been going to Light Dental Studios for 11 years. I started out with Dr. Poyfair in Lakewood and he was absolutely amazing, along with all of the staff. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. He is absolutely hilarious and made me feel so at ease. He always remembered conversations and details about my daughter and partner, and seemed so engaged. I couldn't voice a single complaint! He even went above and beyond giving me a starbucks gift card when my lip was cracked during a crown procedure. (If you ever have the chance to visit, make sure you request they play Katy Perry... it's his favorite! jk (Sorry Dr. Poyfair!)) Last year I transitioned to the Puyallup location when I moved and experienced the same great treatment. Tonight I met with a newer Dr., Dr. Lee, who was so incredible. I came in for a crown, but had some other things take place between scheduling the appointment and arriving. She genuinely listened to my concerns, shifted course swiftly without forcing me into the original plan. (I also want to say the staff who greeted me relayed my initial message without any sense of annoyance that I completely derailed the original intention- they were so helpful and sweet!). Dr. Lee and her assistant, Ally, were so kind and gentle (they make a great pair!!!). I was also able to reschedule my original crown for 2 days from now. I highly recommend Light Dental Studios to anyone who may have a fear of dentists, or a seasoned pro like myself (ha!) who has high expectations which have been exceeded by all staff at both offices I've visited. It felt peaceful, like being home, being in the right place and at the right time. Let's face it, being comfortable at the dentist office is the the first line of business!
