I feel two ways about Willamette dental Tacoma . On one hand I've received good dental care there. The insurance has good coverage as far as co-pays, the hygienist I've had was very good. So here's why I only give it a 3.
The office staff are off-putting and create a very negative culture within the office.
When you walk in you see a bunch of computer monitors from their backsides with 2 or 3 faces peaking out from behind them...no greetings or smiles..no eagerness to serve you..honestly it's like walking into a DMV. Everyone is nice for the most part however no knowledge about FMLA/PFML medical documents at the front counter and how to properly handle inquires. The dental appointments are also set very oddly. It’s also concerning I got a root canal done a month ago and I was never scheduled for a crown to better protect that tooth so I ended up biting down on a pitted olive that had a seed it it and it broke my tooth and now it has to be extracted. There needs to be a clear priority level with treatment that is scheduled. Seems like things are done a little backwards.
Great staff, everything went perfect. Called back on time my assistant Sonja was funny,sweet and is a queen! Dr Choi was amazing she is gentle kind and very thorough. I will recommend all my friends and family to this location. Everyone at front desk was also sweet warm and welcoming. This place really knows their stuff and are experts!
