Tacoma Needle Exchange

This place is great! They offer testing and drug treatment for hepatitis C on premise and give out clean paraphernalia beyond clean syringes. I visit weekly and stock up on bubbles, foil, alcohol pads and wound care kits along with fentanyl test kits, narcane and personal hygiene items including new socks! I guess funding was cut for the wet wipes they used to get and those were a true blessing. One downfall is that their hours are different each day and often they are closed even during times they post as open, so don't show up last minuteoften with the understanding they might close early.

They provided the tools (Narcan) that saved an individuals life. Had they not made it available the individual certainly would of perished. They provide fentanyl testing kits that have detected the substance that otherwise would of never been, saving countless lives. The staff are dedicated to ensuring their patrons are provided with safest and cleanest products as well as installing knowledge of the culture. They are literally a God send.

Ay it's AmberRenee I go to the Tacoma Needle Exchange for wound care supplies for my leg. It's been two years since the back of my leg was cut off at St Joe's, its been a LONG road. I would NOT be able to take care of my leg, if I didn't have the Tacoma Needle Exchange support by providing me with Wound Care supplies, THANK YOU to everyone who works there for your kindness I am doing well because of you!
