“Tommy and Kim used to do my nails for years, starting in the early 2000's. I moved away for 9 years and just returned to the area. After 2 disappointing nail jobs in the Lacey and Tacoma area, I suddenly remembered Tommy's. So much time passed but they remembered me as if no time passed at all. Tommy redeemed my struggling nails. I couldn't be more happy. I will make the 20 mile trek every two weeks. Beside my nails being gorgeous, they do not overcharge and they are good to their customers. Thanks Tommy & Kim for being so awesome.“

“Wow!!! I got tips and acrylic, I have super short natural nails and Im obsessed with how symmetrical my new ones are! And how flat my stylist got the tops!! I asked for the thumbs and pointer fingers to be shorter so I can still safely do my job, and they flow so nicely. Anytime I get my nails done I seem to have a few little flaws but this guy cared about the details and he was fast too, I’m impressed and very happy. Thank you!

“This is my favorite nail salon ever. These are my nails almost 2 weeks later. They never peel off like every other nail place I have gone to. I love that they are by appointment only, that means they don't have to stop and assist new people and they don't answer phones. I have been left to sit in water for 45 minutes once due to over booking at another salon. Don't listen to the Karen, they make it very clear that if you don't show up, you get charged. If you make an appointment and don't come, they just lost money since this isn't a walk in salon. They don't use that cheese grater thing, which just makes your skin more rough, no water so no bacteria lurking behind the jets and they cut your toe nails straight so you don't get an ingrown nail when it grows out. They don't do acrylics so no stinky smells either.They already do all the things I used to tell other salons not to do. At first I was a little skeptical of not having water, since I thought it would take away from the experience but it did not. I was just used to having water, they use warm towels instead. The salon is beautiful too. My only complaint would be that there isn't disabled access so I can't take my mom or grandma here so I am thinking of booking the travel option for them. Once you come here, you won't go anywhere else.“

“I leave this review at the risk of this hidden treasure getting discovered. I’ve been to all of the places in Tacoma over the years and this one has become my favorite. It’s low key but has three nice features that I appreciate and that it it apart from others: (1) if you call to schedule an appointment, the appointment time will actually be honored and they will have someone waiting to help you when you arrive; (2) super easy parking; (3) the owner and staff are very nice and friendly and I’ve never had any complaints about my monthly pedicure.“
