About LA Fitness

The gym is well-maintained and spacious, with friendly staff and a clean locker room. The facility has a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. However, some areas, such as the men’s locker room and bathroom, could be cleaner and are often noted as needing attention. The equipment is still in good order, with maintenance staff frequently seen working on gear. The gym has lost some amenities, like the smoothie bar, over time, and members have expressed a desire for a water bottle dispenser and more class variety. Despite these drawbacks, the gym provides a good value for its services. Members are advised to take extra precautions to keep their valuables safe and clean the equipment before and after use.
I was referred to this place by a friend and decided to try some personal training. Alex met me, was extremely kind, considerate and knowledgeable. He assessed my current situation to a T. Put me on a daily regiment that has changed my life. I’m much more flexible and not in constant pain due to reduced range of motion.
Porter followed up by having me do some excellent exercises that focused on my weaknesses and made me understand where I need to focus on.
Can’t recommend this gym and their manager Wayne enough.
I was helped by Ivan today. He gave me a seven day free trial. Gave me a great show of the LA Fitness here and was very knowledgeable. Took my body weight and gave me a lot of helpful information that I did not know. Please speak to Ivan when you enter this location!!!
Overall the gym is great with a very polite buff gentleman that helped me with my membership renewal.
However...... Re: Pool area..
The water smelled heavy peed in and everytime I use to go the hot tub isn't working and this was 3 years ago and still not working. The inside floor of hot tub and pool has black moldy spots, which raises concern.
The pool does have warm water, but is it due to people peeing in it? Lol. The locker room was clean and sauna was working. I'm worried about pool area not being maintained and risk of illness. I give the overall gym 4 stars, but pool, zero stars.
