I've been going to the same dentist since I was 4 years old and stuck with them mostly out of familiarity and laziness. After my dentist retired and a new dentist bought her business, I decided the long drive wasn't worth it anymore for the overall experience and started to look elsewhere. I tried a new clinic in Tacoma at the end of 2019 and was sorely (literally and figuratively) disappointed. After putting it off for 8 months I finally decided to try a new location - Dentistry NW. Best decision ever!! The entire experience was completely top notch and it pretty much redefined for me what going to the dentist should be like. My dental hygienist Joni was amazing and gave me tips and insight on preventative care like I've never had before. She was super gentle with my sensitive teeth and made sure I knew that she was taking notes in their system so no matter who I get next time I'll receive the same level of care. Dr. Smith and the rest of the team were all really warm and friendly as well, and although most of our interactions were brief I felt really welcome and taken care of. Thank you for the great experience Dentistry NW!! I can't say I've ever really looked forward to going to the dentist, but I've definitely never felt less dreadful about my next visit 😄
