This review is long overdue, but the fact that I still remember Harold demonstrates how exceptional Miller Home Inspections is in the home inspection business. We worked with Harold when purchasing a home in 2010. He was very thorough, kind, helpful, and honest. It truly felt like he was on our side as the buyers and wanted to make sure we understood the home we were purchasing and the responsibilities we would be taking on with the home's current conditions. He saved us from a problem in one home that had the potential to be incredibly expensive, and ultimately gave the home we bought a great report. We lived there for many happy years and used the home report he provided as a guidebook for maintenance and repairs. We have since moved out of the country and when we purchased our new home, we had an issue pop up on an inspection that reminded me of Harold and the wonderful work he had done for us. The world can use more people like Harold - I am so glad to see that his business is still thriving over 15 years later!

Howard's review of the house we are buying was everything we wanted to hear about. He was patient and offered good explanations to all our questions. He was thorough and detailed. We came away from our post-inspection in-person conversation while we all were still in the house fully satisfied that we had made the right choice for who to do our inspection. And his inspection report provided excellent and thorough coverage of all the points of the house that needed to be examined. If we have a need in the future for house inspection, we'd be on the phone scheduling Howard again.
PS: our real estate agent offered 3 businesses that do house inspections. In comparisons, Howard came in well ahead of the other two.

Our inspector, Harold Miller, spent almost 3 hours inspecting our log cabin home from the crawlspace to the roof and then providing us with a 56 page report using color coded sections of his findings to help us quickly see what was serious and what wasn’t so critical issues her inspection found. His diligence helped us procure a $5,000 credit on our closing costs from the seller to address the one issue that needed attention to our new home.
