My engine had less than 20,000 on it a valve in #5 cylinder went bad it took 2 weeks for s& j to say they would warranty it and replace the head it took 2 1/2 months of the repair shop calling and emailing and me calling before the shop received the head from s&j but the head was not done right and my shop had to make it right this all took 5 months before I could get my SUV back at this point I could not recommend s&j engines
Looking for a marine engine like I was , then this is the best value to buy a short or long block for your boat.Great workmanship, quality parts, best warranty, and very responsive to your needs by phone or email.I have bought 2 350 5.7 long blocks here after extensive research and glad I did.
Will not warranty the work after you purchase from them. They will say the engine overheated just to make you pay for faulty warranty work. Once you get the engine back, you will notice they did not even look at the motor. They will send it back to you the same way you sent it to them damaged and inoperable. These people are crooks and will take your money. You will do better paying a 2 year old to build you an engine. I promise it will be more reliable
