Kaiser Permanente Eye Care - Spokane - Riverfront Medical Center

My glasses ($900) lenses cracked because they are fitting the lenses on site by grinding on the edges, and not doing a great job. I had to pay over 400 dollars to replace them. Now my left lense is cracking right through the middle and I can't afford to pay to replace. I have worn this style of glasses for years and never had this happen before. I am always careful how I handle the glasses. I think I should not have to pay for something they have caused. I called to talk to someone and was told I had to go in to the clinic (45 miles) so they could look at them. The last time I was there, the manager accused me of mishandling the glasses. Speaking For the eye clinic in Spokane, Washington, My glasses lenses cracked six months in after paying nine hundred dollars for the glasses and lenses. I took the glasses into the clinic, and they basically accused me of not handling them correctly. I have had this style of glasses for several years and have never had an issue before. They grind the lenses to fit the frames in-house. I don't think they're doing them correctly. I had to pay another almost four hundred dollars to replace my lenses. Had eye exam, new Rx. scheduled to have lens put into my own personal frames-only a year old. Cost for two pair of glasses -lens only- over $900$$$!!!... was told 7-10 days both pair of glasses would be finished. Left both pair and have NO other glasses. It has been over 5 WEEKS and no glasses... was told they were sent to Oregon. This is just beyond crazy. I can not drive-no glasses and still waiting. Should have gone to Costco or somewhere else and saved mega dollars and had glasses returned in a week. Beware---
