“Recounting every positive experience I’ve had at “The Yard Barber”, I’ve realized there’s too many stories to choose from when sharing why the barbershop is beyond deserving of a 5-star review. As a long time customer, I’ve watched this business grow over the past decade and witnessed first-hand the quality and consistency of haircuts improve. Comparatively, the Yard Barber offers the best (in my opinion) cuts at a price you can’t beat, but this review is more than just the services they provide. They make you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door. Even when schedules are completely booked, they make an effort to accommodate customers. Appointments are highly recommended! The barbers are personable, honest, and extremely hard-working. They have had positive influence in the Hillyard community and are all about “giving back”. Whenever I wear their merchandise outside of the shop, I often get stopped and asked, “Do you work there?”, “I’ve heard such great things about them”. This business has thrived on word-of-mouth referrals and that’s for good reason. The Yard Barbershop pays attention to the smallest of details and that’s why I’ll continue to go there indefinitely.
